I'm super organised again this week! I love this week's cards.

    

The blue background card is a straight CASE from the fabulous Sandi McIver (US Demonstrator) - I loved it so much I didn't want to change anything! Next week, I'll upload some other ideas using the Kindness Matters stamp set, so check out my Drop Box then.

I am putting on an extra cardmaking class this week - Thursday.

RETRO SUNDAY

Retro Saturday has become Retro Sunday because Tom is starting soccer soon and his games will be on Saturdays. We will be making 3 cards from previous classes so this is your opportunity to pick up on missed classes or come and make them again!

Classes Week Commencing 13 February

I have been uploading various documents and photos to my "Drop Box" - a fabulous little tool that allows me to share my documents and pictures with you. I have a general "Cardmaking" folder with subfolders "Samples of Others" and "Class Samples". The flower-making tutorial from last week is also on there.


It's a free app to install and allows you to log in anywhere and look at the documents I have shared. I have sent most of my regulars an invitation to join my shared folder - please let me know if you'd like to be included.

10am Tuesday 14 February and 7.30pm Friday 17 February - Flower Garden Embossing Folder

This class will show how to emboss only a section of the image on an embossing folder and alter the size of your embossing folder image. 

10am Thursday 16 February - Scrapbooking and Cardmaking
I am still trying to get some interest in my scrapbooking classes so please spread the word to your scrappy friends.

It's so good to back with classes - I just love my job!

Monday's scrapbooking classes were a flop so I'm going to move it to Thursday and see if that's a better day for the scrappers out there. Cardmakers are also welcome on Thursdays.

These cards are suitable for Valentine's Day although I have made modified samples if Valentine's Day just isn't your thing!

Book in early for classes as limit of 8 per class applies.

First STAMP CLUB night for the year is tomorrow night (Wednesday 25 January) 7.30pm. There is one spot left for the taking. Want more details? Give me a call M: 0401 303 821. Downlines also welcome on Stamp Club night.

Classes are back in full swing next week ... and I've already prepared the first 4 classes! Monday, Tuesday and Friday classes held every week and introducing "Retro Saturdays". One Saturday per month, we will be making cards from previous classes.

All classes held at my home: 5 Capricorn Street, Bentley Park. Please RSVP as spaces are limited to 8 per class.

10am - 2pm Monday 30 January - Scrapbooking
$20 for use of all equipment, alphabets/dies/punches, paints, sewing machine etc - limited products and consumables available for purchase.
We can recreate almost anything from scrapbooking magazines (millions here to browse) so bring your photos along ... let's make a huge dint in that photo box this year!

10am (new time) Tuesday 31 January and 7.30pm Friday 3 February - Cardmaking (same class)
$20 for 3 cards - all materials and equipment provided (sorry girls, when this batch of coffee is finished, it's over to instant Moconna this year)
This class uses the Open Sea stamp set and baker's twine from the current Mini catalogue - the front card is an easle card and is a CASE from the fabulous US Demonstrator, Sandi McIver.

Saturday 4 February - Flower Making Class
$20 for class (about 3 make-and-takes)
Join me as I demonstrate how to make around 10 different flowers using paper and cardstock. I will demonstate the different flowers first and, time permitting, you can then have a play and make around 3 flowers of your choice to take home.
I have already received bookings from Sharelle, Carolyn, Tammy and Tina, thank you ladies.
A big thank you to Theresa who has helped me prepare and photograph the making of the samples so I could provide you with some photo-based instructions. The file is too large to email and too long to print so please bring along a blank CD or memory stick if you'd like a copy.

Demonstration at the Botanical Gardens

I will be at the Botanical Gardens between 1.30pm and 3.30pm this Saturday 10 December demonstrating "Making Christmas Cards". Hmm, better make a start on that little project. There will also be a lady demonstrating origami and making Christmas ornaments with pieces of plants (sounds interesting).

Stamp Club

Stamp Club commences again in January with the first Stamp Club night being 7.30pm Wednesday 25 January. There are still 2 places available in the Stamp Club - so far we have Tina, Tammy, Helen and Kay.

Classes For 2012

Classes resume in the week commencing Monday 30 January.

I propose to have the following schedule for 2012:-

Mondays 10am - 2pm - Scrapbooking Class $20
Tuesdays 10am - 2pm - Cardmaking Class Usually $20
(I might need to put an extra daytime class on - perhaps Fridays 10am - 2pm)
Fridays 7.30pm - 10.30pm Cardmaking Class Usually $20

Could you please email me your preferred class times for 2012.

Flower-Making Class - 10am Saturday 4 February

There will also be an extra class on Saturday 4 February - Flower Making Class. This is a tutorial-style class. Bring along your cameras and take photos/film while I show you how to make about a dozen different flowers using paper and cardstock.

Class cost will be $20 with an optional kit containing the pieces for most of the flowers demonstrated for an extra $10. Class will be limited to 8 optional kits. I may schedule an extra class if this class fills quickly.

Classes Next Week

Hi everyone

Just a reminder there is no class tonight (2 December) - we will be in sunny (?) metropolis Cooktown for a mini-break.

We will be making a starbook (it is like a booklet but it folds around to form a star - great for scrapbooking some photos). Theresa will be teaching this class. We then have a Christmas eats (please bring a small plate of something festive to share!) and ... Santa has left some presents under the tree - looks like he shops at Stampin' Up! too!!!

Hi everybody. Thank you for coming and visiting me at the Leukaemia Foundation Craft Fair! Ruth and I had a stall and we were quite happy with the amount of traffic that went through. Thank you for inviting me again, Ruth - I just love your stuff!
