The new annual and seasonal catalogues have commenced and I've received my first order ... very exciting! I have updated the links to the new catalogues on my blog home page so if you're ever out-and-about and need to look at the catalogues, you'll have it at your fingertips at www.stampingwithsally.blogspot.com. If you haven't already got the new catalogues and would like one, email me and I'll get them to you!
CLASSES THIS WEEK - Friday 14 September
This week's classes use the new Papaya Collage stamp set.
The butterfly card is using a layering technique that is very popular at the moment - I've based this card on a card by Becky Jensen (US). The bird card is based on a card by Mindy Backes and the final card (Primrose Petal pink) is a mish-mash of a few different elements I liked.
10am and 7.30pm Friday 14 September
5 Capricorn Street, Bentley Park
$20 for 3 cards - all materials and equipment provided
Please RSVP so I know how many kits to prepare.
Stamp Club is this Wednesday (12 September) at 7.30pm. Chris B is the hostess-with-the-mostest this month. Chris is hosting a workshop at her home tomorrow and our make-and-take card uses the Postage Due stamp set from the new annual catalogue.
SCHOOL HOLIDAY CLASS
I am holding a School Holiday Class for children in the second week of the holidays on Thursday 4 October 10am - 2pm. This Christmas-themed class will be designed for girls aged over about 7 and will cost $20. Please forward this email to your friends with school-aged children who may be interested.
CHRISTMAS CRAFTING WEEKEND
The most exciting news of this post ... we are having a Christmas-themed weekend!
The format will be similar to the Mini-Retreat held in July.
The dates (lock them in your diary!): Saturday 6 October and/or Sunday 7 October
The cost: $50 for 1 day or $100 for 2 days
The location: Playgroup House, Graham Street, Edmonton
I will be bringing along all of my Christmas stamps, ink pads, punches, Big Shot dies etc, tools, complete range of cardstock, ribbons and embellishments for us to use to create all weekend long! Wahoo!
There will be heaps of print-outs and samples to inspire you! Cards, gifts, boxes, gift-tags, banners, table centrepieces...
Bring a mattress if you're keen to pull an all-nighter (Tina and Tammy were the mid-nighters in July!). I will be popping my vitamins to make sure I'm as fit as a fiddle for this one!!
Please RSVP as soon as possible so I can prepare the goodies and email you further details.
(As this is a Christmas-themed weekend, please let me know if you'd like me to bring a particular non-Christmas stamp set).
I'm so excited, I'm not going to be able to sleep now!
Hope to see you all soon.
