No Classes This Week
Hi everybody
There won't be any classes this week. Tom has an end-of-term party at kindy on Tuesday and we are going away on Friday.

Class Samples - Fathers Day / Male Cards
I almost forgot Father's Day!! Sorry if your Dad lives away from Cairns but our Father's Day cards are a little late this year! So if you've already knocked up a Father's Day card or (heaven forbid ...) purchased one, these cards can be modified to birthday cards or, as you'll see on one of them, a retirement card.

Thursday 25 August Samples
At last, a chance to blog. Sorry there was no post last week - I had a hectic week moving my craft room, preparing for the presentation for the SU! Regionals Training on Saturday and Tully Heads class on Sunday.

We will be going to Townsville this weekend so Friday night's class will be held on Thursday night. We will be using the Nature's Nest stamp set. Technique used - making our own multicoloured stamp pad using baby wipes

It's all very feminine this week!
This week's cards were inspired by a fantastic presentation by Vanessa Webb at the Melbourne SU! Convention in May. We will be using the Big Shot adhesive sheets and fabric to create these very feminine cards. The butterflies and scallop envelope are die cut and embossed for some great dimension.

Card Samples, Scrapbooking Class, Retirement List and More
I am back at the craft table after a couple of weeks off. Thank you, Mum, for coming and looking after us.
Card Classes Friday Night and (next) Tuesday
This week's card class uses the Inspired by Nature stamp set. I've always liked this set but didn't purchase it until last week. In this class, you will be emboss resist brayering (or sponging if preferred), Stampin' Mist bleaching and white craft pad embossing to create these cards.

Scrapbooking Class
NEW! Scrapbooking classes will now be held every Monday 10am - 2pm.
I have purchased lots of new punches, die cuts and alphabets lately (poor credit card!). I also have paints, a sewing machine and many other tools for you to use. Bring along your photos (or not ... add them later) and papers for 4 hours of scrapbooking every Monday.
I have some papers / cardstock / embellishments for you to purchase but please feel free to bring as much of your own gear as you like. You can surf the net and / or browse my magazines for inspiration over a coffee before you start or turn up ready to rumble.
Please RSVP as I will limit numbers to what's comfortable around the table.
First class commences next week, Monday 8 August - weekly thereafter
10am - 2pm
